Meet The Artist
Hello there! My name is Catherine and I am so happy you stopped by! In my studio, my desire is to create lovely art to fill your days with beauty and joy. I want my paintings to remind you to linger longer on the lovely things, celebrate others and remember the beautiful story being written in your life.
Growing up, you could find me coloring, crafting or doing something creative. I loved to use my imagination as I played with my dolls, doodled pictures of my dog, sewed a pillow or rearranged my room to create the coziest feel. I have always had an interest in fashion so I pursued a degree in Apparel Design at Baylor University. After falling in love with my Fashion Illustration class I began to dabble in watercolor and I haven't stopped painting since!
I love Jesus, my family & my friends. I love slow mornings reading my Bible with a cup of coffee, a really good playlist and long walks with a friend. I love all things denim, a good antique shop, black and white movies and I could eat Tex Mex for every meal!

The Story Behind The Paint
When I look back on photographs and pictures from the past I can vividly recall the feelings I felt in those moments and the memories being made. My tendency is to quickly lose sight of all God has done. I forget He remains faithful even when I don't and He will hold my hand every day throughout my life. My illustrations help me mark important memories and remind me of His faithful character. My desire is to create art that will be an Ebenezer (an object to help you remember) in your life that will lift your eyes to the Maker of this world and give Him the glory He deserves.
